We're so sorry that you're having trouble connecting your blood pressure machine to your iPhone, and we're here to help you get set up! Below are step-by-step instructions on how to successfully connect your blood pressure monitor to your iPhone.
Here's how to reconnect the BP monitor to work with Hello Heart, step by step:
- Please remove the batteries from the monitor, and press the Start button while the batteries are out.
- Then please restore the batteries in the monitor.
- Please follow these steps to disconnect the BP monitor from your iPhone. (If you don't see the monitor in the Bluetooth device list, you can skip this step.)
- From the iPhone's Home Screen (the list of all apps), open the Settings app
- From the Settings app, tap Bluetooth
- Under "My Devices", click on the
icon next to the blood pressure monitor. Its name should be similar to A&D_UA-651BLE and then a sequence of numbers
- On the blood pressure monitor details screen, tap on Forget This Device and confirm by tapping Forget Device again on the button that pops from the bottom of the screen
- From the iPhone's Home Screen (the list of all apps), open the Settings app
- Please open Hello Heart and reconnect the monitor in the “Me” tab
In general, it's important to note that Hello Heart needs to be open on your iPhone while measuring your blood pressure, for the reading to be sent to the app. Please make sure to open Hello Heart on your iPhone before you start measuring your blood pressure.
I still can't connect the monitor to my iPhone
Please check your Settings on your iPhone.
1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Scroll down until you find Hello Heart and click on it
3. Turn on Bluetooth setting
Once this is done, please attempt to connect to your BP monitor again on the Hello Heart app.
