Here is a list of error codes that you may have encountered. If you have seen an error code that is not listed here, or if you tried following the instructions for the related error code and are still having problems, please reach out to us at support@helloheart.com or (800) 767-3471.
ERR: Unstable blood pressure due to movement during measurement. Please re-apply the cuff and take another measurement. Be sure to remain still and not talk during the measurement.
ERR CUF: The cuff may not be applied correctly and/or is too loose. Please remove the cuff and then put it on again, making sure that it is tight enough to not slide down your arm but loose enough that you are able to put a few fingers between the cuff and your arm.
E: The pulse isn’t being detected correctly. Please try taking your blood pressure again with the blood pressure cuff on your bare arm (remove thick shirts or sweaters).
E1: Indicates a communication error. Make sure Hello Heart is open on your phone and try again.
E3: The cuff is not secure. Readjust the cuff and relax for a moment and then measure again. This error message may also appear if the cuff is too small.
ERR E or 9: The monitor has experienced an internal error. Please remove the batteries and press the Start button, and then install the batteries again before taking another blood pressure reading.
ERR 10 or 11: Bluetooth pairing has not been performed correctly or there is a connectivity issue. Please remove and reinstall batteries, then reconnect.
E10 or E11: The monitor detected motion while measuring, which can affect the measurement. Relax for a moment and then measure again, without moving.
E20: The measurement process does not detect the pulse signal. Please remove any heavy clothing from your arm and try again.
E21: The treatment of the measurement failed. Relax for a moment and then measure again.
