Additional Hello Heart Glucometer Troubleshooting

If you run into any of the below issues while using the Hello Heart Glucometer, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  • If the display screen is blank after inserting a test strip:
    • Check to see if the test strip was inserted correctly
    • Check to make sure the correct test strip was used
    • Check to see if the batteries are inserted correctly with the “+” side facing up
    • If the screen is still blank, replace batteries
  • If the test does not start even after applying the blood sample to the test strip
    • Check the window on the test strip to make sure it is filled completely
    • Insert a new test strip and repeat the test.
  • If the result seems abnormally high or low
    • Repeat the test with a new test strip
    • Check the expiration date of the test strip
    • Perform a test with the control solution
    • If you are still experiencing abnormally high or low readings after troubleshooting, contact support at support@helloheart.com
