If you run into any of the below issues while using the Hello Heart Glucometer, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
- If the display screen is blank after inserting a test strip:
- Check to see if the test strip was inserted correctly
- Check to make sure the correct test strip was used
- Check to see if the batteries are inserted correctly with the “+” side facing up
- If the screen is still blank, replace batteries
- If the test does not start even after applying the blood sample to the test strip
- Check the window on the test strip to make sure it is filled completely
- Insert a new test strip and repeat the test.
- If the result seems abnormally high or low
- Repeat the test with a new test strip
- Check the expiration date of the test strip
- Perform a test with the control solution
